Frankie Davis Mixon, 84, died Friday, March 21, 2014 at Azalealand Nursing Home. She was born April 23, 1929 in Bulloch County, GA. Frankie was a member of Bible Baptist Church and worked for the U.S. Corps of Engineers, and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett M. Mixon.
Surviving are her two sons, Michael E. Mixon Mary R., of Sylvania, GA, and Stephen E. Mixon Jennifer, of Savannah. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Heather Mutter Bill, Emily Mixon, Aubrey Mixon Diamond, Avery Mixon, and three great-grandchildren, Asher Mixon, Jacob Mutter, and Abbey Mutter.
Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Fox & Weeks, Islands Chapel.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 24, 2014 at Fox & Weeks, Islands Chapel.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
